We do both.  
We can lead and manage the entire project as the general contractor or act in a support capacity and perform a single task as a subcontractor.  Regardles of our capacity on your project, we approach it with the same enthusiasm and focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.

PROJECT DELIVERY
First and foremost we are responsible for the successful delivery each project where we are the general contractor.  We use traditional and emerging project management methodology to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved.    

COORDINATION 
We coordinate all of the associated permits and inspections – meeting the inspectors at the job site and working with them on any requested changes or adjustments. We schedule and coordinate all work activities with safety and efficiency as the project drivers. Progress is routinely tracked to identify gaps with gap-closure plans formulated to keep the project on schedule.

SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
We build relationships with local specialty contractors to ensure top tier quality and delivery on each project.  All subcontractors on our projects work directly for and are managed by us.  We ensure that all of our sub contractors meet insurance and licensing requirements for each project jurisdiction.  We are responsible for the quality of all work performed by any and all subcontractors.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL
Mills General ensures that all of our projects and work sites meet proper safe-work requirements with minimal environmental impact. Safety is considered of the utmost importance on our sites and the safety records of our subcontractors are routinely reviewed.

SELF PERFORMED WORK
Much of the work on our projects is performed by our approved sub-contractors but on many smaller jobs we will generally self-perform the work. Our in-house crews will usually execute demolition, debris removal, general labor, rough carpentry, small concrete, excavation & grading, land clearing & site prep….
